A DIFFICULT VIKING'S WAY...

The 3rd Tourism and Water Sports Expo with compelling meetings

Only the sea and me. Man and the Element. And the life becomes more valuable, gains a new sense. - this quotation has been taken from Krzysztof Buczyński's book "The difficult Viking's way" Buczyński has been the first person to sail across the Baltic Sea, from Sweden to Polish coasts. He crossed the sea on a folding canoe alone, without any assistance. Buczyński had made three attempts before; in 1987, 1988 and 1989. This time he managed to land on the Polish beach.  He demonstrated persistence in overcoming the psychological and political powerlessness of times. He coped with the element of the water without any difficulty; thus Buczyński can become a symbol of the generation's fight to alter Poland.

A meeting with Krzysztof Buczyński will be held during the conference on "Inland waterways management with regards to kayak-oriented tourism" - a part of the third Tourism and Water Sports Expo held simultaneously with the Kielce SPORT-EXPO, 11-13 February 2016. We are looking forward to seeing you in Targi Kielce!
