Competition Review of the "Przy Kominku" Festival

Friday, November 29 - the Congress Centre of Targi Kielce is a full house. Warm sound of poetic and tourist music is what the concert hall resounds with. The competition was the arena for 13 bands from around the country.  The bands were reviewed in two categories: tourist and poetic songs.

The performers' skills were assessed by the jury panel which comprises musicians, composers, producers, guitarists and other personages associated with the music milieus.  The jury was composed of, among others inter alia  Jerzy Krużel. Piotr Frankowicz. Leszek Osterczy. Janusz Deblessem  and  Andrzej Mochoń P - President of t hhD. e Management Board of Targi Kielce.

The first day of the festival culminated in the  Integration concert in the "7 rooms" club - the Grzane Wino  (the laureate of the audience award of Przy Kominku 2018) and  Jerzy Filar were performing.

The festival's culminates with the Winners' Gala Concert on Saturday, 30 November. This is staged in the Omega Hall, at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre. The "Lands of Gentleness" stars who will perform: Sprzedawcy Dymu [Smoke Sellers]  whose songs are part of the poetic - tourist - shanty style. There will also be the legendary and reactivated band Wszystkiego Najlepszego [Happy Birthday] and the poetic folk band from the Tri-City -  Myszy & Ludzie [Mice & People]. The concerts are complemented with the Vinyl and CD Exchange and the Christmas Fair.

The organizer of the “At Fireplace" Festival is the  "Białogon" Culture  Centre in conjunction with  Targi Kielce .
