"Electric cars - our future!"
Electric cars have become more and more popular in Poland. Only recently public consultation on Electromobility Development Plan have finished. Vehicle related mobility will also be discussed at Targi Kielce's upcoming ENEX / ENEX New Energy expos held on 1 and 2 March 2017.
Although targets and deadlines set out in the Ministry's plan can be criticised, the Ministry assumes that, inter alia in a decade Polish roads will see at least one million electric cars. There is no doubt however that electric cars are the inherent part of our future . Many Polish cities already operate hybrid buses or those equipped with internal combustion engines and a battery, not to mentions purely electric buses. Urban transport companies more often opt for solutions which combat with excessive air pollution. Global trends are clear - there will be an increased share of electric cars in the automotive market, this cannot be reversed.
Why electric cars? Cheaper to run - electricity costs are easy to predict, in contrast to gas or oil prices. The Polish Ministry's ambitious plans encompass creation of an extensive car-charging network, creation of favourable conditions for electric cars owners, like service-charge definition which makes electric car use even more profitable. An additional advantage is the ability to recover braking energy which translates into greater savings.
Electric cars offer major advantages not only the users, but also the for the environment - they are quiet and emission- free. This is particularly important for Poland, where acceptable standards of air pollution are often exceeded. This is attributed to car combustion-engines emissions. No emissions = cleaner air for us to breathe. Technology-wise, an electric motor's design is simpler, has fewer moving parts than conventional engines. This limits failure risk and a further operating costs decline.
Electric cars feature the modern, future-proof technology. Therefore the upcoming ENEX expo cannot neglect this prospective developments.
Without any doubts, Tesla is most famous electric car. Even those not interested in buying Tesla know the name and the brand. Information about Elon Musk's, Tesla Chairman innovative and very original business activities arouses great public interest. Tesla will be present for the two expo days at ENEX 2017 - 1-2 March 2017, Kielce. However there will be more electric cars on show at the expo. What other electric cars will there be on display? Stay tuned for more information.
