ELECTROMOBILITY - THE WAY FORWARD

On 5 February, President Andrzej Duda signed the electromobility act.  What does it mean for an average roads or public transport user?  The act's objective is to provide a necessary prod to buy new electric cars.  The Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki's intention is very ambitious. Almost one million of electric cars on Polish roads no later than in 10 years' time.

Roman Tabaka is the President of the Management Board of T&T Proenergy. The T&T Proenergy expo stand at the ENEX  attracted crowds of visitors. Mr. Tabaka stresses the fact that the act is important not only because of its provisions. It symbolises the urgent need for changes.  - The Act gives more options to those few who already have electric vehicles.  They will be able to use car parks, special zones. The act also offers the impulse for the infrastructure development -  adds Mr. Tabaka.

It is extremely important to raise awareness - electromobility is the option we should choose.  This knowledge dissemination and electromobility promotion, supported by the government opens new possibilities. There will be more docking stations and therefore it will be easier to plan a trip.

A vast majority of drivers have not decided to buy an electric car because the infrastructure is not well-developed. The Act on electromobility requires us to install more and more fast docking stations - emphasizes Artur Gaj from ABB.  According to governmental assumptions, nearly 6,500 stations will be available in Poland.

It is worth noting that electric cars have already become enough, this is a response to their alleged slowness.
