Lessons with ENERIS are engrossing, engaging and hugely creative

"Though young and small, you can also become environment protection master" - this simple statement placed on the ENERIS' mini-publications for children is an invitation for children to read "A few words about waste - advice taken from the Inquisitive Nipper's notepad".

The International Environmental Protection and Waste Management Expo EKOTECH encompasses a rich and diversified products and services portfolio for efficient waste management.  Yet there is much more to the expo than just the exhibition - its programme includes a number of conferences and training sessions. Entrepreneurs are introduced to regulations changes, they prompted how to stay afloat.

Cut out for the youngest?

ENERIS - in addition to the company's expo stand which showcases the firm's offer, there is a series of meetings for children. Through fun, puzzles, contests and games, the youngest expo participants are introduced to ecological conduct principles. The two-day expo is the chance for more than 200 children from Kielce schools to deepen and systematize their knowledge about waste selection and environment care. The educational scheme is held under the banner of RRP - Reduce, Recycle, Process.

- It turns out that children have extensive knowledge on how to care for the environment they live in. This knowledge is to be streamlined. Children need to be shown what the world will look like in a few years' time - says ENERIS spokesman Bartosz Lewicki.

More than a lesson

Lessons for children held within the scope of Targi Kielce's EKOTECH is part of ENERIS' project. The Municipal Waste Management Facility in Balin includes ENERIS Environmental Education Path. Designed for older kindergarten groups, primary and secondary schools, the didactic path teaches how to sort waste and presents what today's material and energy recovery. The company also stages educational performances; these can be an educational attraction at events, festivals, school feasts, etc.
