INTERACTIVE SCHOOL AIDS SHOWCASED AT KIELCE'S EDUCATION EXPO

"Magic Carpet", interactive whiteboards and projectors, displays and tables, Microsoft educational projects - these are the highlights of Targi Kielce's Expo of Technologies & Equipment for Education held from 5 to 7 October

The event is targeted  at schools  and  teachers  features highlights - interactive tables with the four touch points which can be used just like an  interactive whiteboard.

- Monitors are placed horizontally; mounted in a special housing make it possible for a group of students to practice in  teams and with the teacher - Says Przemysław Małysz of AV Multimedia Kielce; the company will equip 300 Świętokrzyskie Province's schools with interactive whiteboards. - This is also an interesting offer for school common-rooms - he adds.

The Education Expo abounds with attractions galore;  interactive floors which can be used to learn and play attracted the expo guests' attention. The "Magic Carpet" boasts its capacities in Kielce

- This device combines functions of interactive floors and an interactive tables. The system comprises a computer, a data projector, motion detectors . It is a perfect solution for schools as a cutting-edge teaching aid for students and teachers. In the European Union, for example in the Netherlands, the system is also used to work with the elderly who suffer senile dementia - says Piotr Treszczotko, vice president of Funtronic - the company which presents the "Magic Carpet" at the Kielce expo.

The Exhibition also hosts - Microsoft - the global brand offers solutions for education.

- For example we put on display the very popular Windows 10 Education system as well as the Microsoft Office 365 package which gives students the opportunity to work in real time. They can do homework even when ill at home - says Tomasz Durkacz, product manager of Incom -the distributor of Microsoft products and also of HP and the British  Promethean - There are numerous solutions designed to support cooperation between teachers and students.
