THE STARS OF THE "AT THE FIREPLACE" FESTIVAL GALA CONCERT

December 3 is when the Targi Kielce's Congress Centre  is again transformed into the Land of Gentleness heart. It all begins with the fusion of regional flavours - this treat is owed to the Summers' Tastes and Shapes Rural Market . And for dessert the guests will embark on a musical journey. The Laureates Gala Concert is the most culmination point of the National Festival of Poetic and Tourism Songs "At the Fireplace" . The OMEGA hall will be the stage for, inter alia:

  • u studni "At the Well" formation - This ensemble originates from the poetry-set-to-music mainstream. It comprises the iconic musicians Stare Dobre Małżeństwo [Good Old Marriage] former musicians . The band was created in 2012. Adam Ziemianin and Dariusz Czarny are the authors of the poems sung set to music. Many-year co-creators of Stare Dobre Małżeństwo (1984-2012), tey have developed a recognizable sound-style of the legendary group. Their experience has also been used to support bands like: "Boheme" (Darek Czarny), "WYSPA" or "Do Góry Dnem" (Ola Kiełb) and "Hoodoo Band" (Andrzej Stagraczyński). Creative personalities, naturalness and easiness of stage performance as well as excellent contact with the audiences guarantee that every U STUDNI concert is truly unique. The band's sounds are familiar and fresh. Well-known and well-balanced guitars of Darek Czarny and Rysiek Żarowskie, Andrzej Stagraczyński's bass and the one-of-its-kingd Wojtek Czemplik's violin have won the hearts of a wider circle of fans, regardless their ages. In 2013's February the band released their album "U Studni". A wise reflection, life affirmation in all its manifestations, supreme lyrics and optimism - in addition a beautiful harmony of singers' voices and instruments these are the most important qualities of U Studni artistic message. They perform in all corners of Poland. A live contact with the audiences, spiritual integration as well as desire and the need to sing together with the audience at the concerts are the prerequisites.
  • jerzy filar Jerzy Filar with his band that comprises: Andrzej Kwiatek Kwiatkowski - the drums and accordion, Sebastian Ruciński - the guitar, Piotr Górka - the bass, Piotr Goliat - the piano. Over the years, he has worked with Janusz Rewiński's "Rewa Sings"; this resulted in thr "Stary Star" hit. The artistic CV also includes collaboration with Bronislaw Opalko's "Genowefa Pigwa" stand-up comedians. Jerzego Filar's songs have been repeatedly performed at Polish Song festivals in Opole and at the International Song Festival in Sopot by Nasza Basia Kochana and Wały Jagiellońskie as well as such singers as: Grazyna Łobaszewska ("Behind the glass pane"), Ewa Bem ("Behind the glass pane"), Maryla Rodowicz ("Jola Ola", "November leaves"), Janusz Rewiński ("The Old Star"), Jacek Cygan, Margorzata Foremniak and Andrzje Piasek Piaseczny ("Samba Sikoreczka"), Jean Piervon from France ( "Behind the glass"). He has recorded with the leading Polish jazz musicians, including Janusz Skowron, Zbigniew Jaremko, Krzysztof Ścierański, Krzysztof Herdzina, Robert Luty, Krzesimir Dębski, Jerzy Główczewskim. The guitar, harmonica and a specific, slightly hoarse voice, he can bring out the extraordinary depth of his own and Jacek Cygan's lyrics. The stage personality, a great sense of humour, unusual vocal are the greatest ingredients of his concerts success. This authorial song mainstream representative highly appreciates a direct contact with the audience, spontaneity and singing together.
