Korona Handball players' tournaments triumphs
Korona Handball came before NRP I Jelenia Gora and Kusym Krakow in the eighth Juniors Handball Tournament for Kielce Mayor's Cup. The first team coached by Monika Ciszek won all matches. Kielce female team defeated Pałac Młodzieży Tarnow, Dwójka Łomza, Stal Zywiec and SMS Karpacz. In the finals the Kielce handball players won with KPR I Jelenia Gora 26:11. Korona Handball II was out-of-competition player in the tournament (with one year older players) also scored five victories.
The best female player of the tournament was Magda Więckowska (Korona Handball I) and the best goalkeeper was Natalia Filończuk (SMS Karpacz). The Korony Handball's Kinga Strózik was pronounced the top scorer with 40 goals. Awards for the best players in the team were also presented to the two Kielce players: Natalia Marcian (Korona Handball I) and Joanna Feldman (Korona Handball II).
Korony Handball's first team was also unrivalled in the ninth National Handball Tournament for Marshal Cup - schoolgirls category. The team supervised by Marzena Świtoń won five matches - with Korab Staszów AZS Radom SMS Lukow, Lublin Sprinter and in the finals with the Warsaw Ochota 14: 8. The other Kielce team finished ninth in the tournament.
Best schoolgirls-category player was Wiktoria Sitarz (Ochota Warsaw) and the best goalkeeper Gabriela Zięba (Korona Handball I). Natalia Duszyńska was most effective (Łukowia). Awards were also presented to the two Kielce players: Julia Zawierucha (Korona Handball I) and Aleksander Siek (Korona Handball II).
Targi Kielce has become the supporter of Korona Handball from this season.
