This is another record in the series - there were 70,000 visitors last year. The most numerous fellowship of companies ever - 750 companies from 25 countries presented their products and services at the jubilee exhibition. 66 thousand square metres exhibition space - three thousand larger compared to last year’s edition. This has been the largest expo area ever.
For the three expo days, from 15 to 17 March, Targi Kielce 11 expo halls and the outdoor exhibition grounds turned into agricultural world’s focal point. Over 1000 machines were on show, an among the, tractors, combine harvesters and smaller-size agricultural equipment. On the first day the expo was graced with the presence of, inter alia the Deputy Prime Minister Beata Szydło and Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski, the Minister of Agriculture. The Agrotech, following the many-year tradition was with the Timber Industry & Forest Resources Management Fair held for the 19th time.
What is worth remembering is the fact that for many years, AGROTECH has been Central and Eastern Europe’s largest agricultural industry trade fair held in exhibition halls. At the same time this is also the Poland’s largest exhibition, the biggest among all industries and sectors of the economy. Also for many years, the trade show has been granted the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development’s patronage.
The AGROTECH history dates back to the autumn of 1995. The Targi Kielce début expo brought together mere few dozens of companies, including 6 foreign ones who used 730 sq m exhibition space only. In 2019, 25 years later there are 82 multinational corporations among the exhibitors, Poland is represented by 668 enterprises. Companies offers on show is a comprehensive presentation of all gear and equipment a 21st century farm needs.
The glossy tractors with the latest technology on board and cutting-edge the solution in the cabins generated greatest interest among the visitors. The conceptual bio-powered tractor powered with methane presented at the New Holland expo stand proved to be the exhibition’s real smash-hit. Case showcased its "Tractor of the Year 2019" - the Maxxum 145 Multicontroller. Ursus promoted its new version of the iconic C-360. The expo abounded in Polish-market premiere presentations and product launches - Same Deutz-Fahr unveiled its Keyline 5090D tractor. Zetor’s expo stand tempted with the Proxima CL 110 shapely figure presented for the first time at the Kielce expo. The ZETOR made the tractor market roll out in Poland only. Other countries’ market launches are scheduled for 2019’s mid-season.
Not only did the tractors enjoy the farmers’ interest - the expo was a true knowledge-mine. The latest developments in fertilization, including nitrogen fertilization in accordance with the latest requirements of the Nitrogen Directive were broadly presented at the expo. It is hard to believe that you can manage and supervise fertilization so easily - everything is at your fingertips. All you need is a smartphone, a tablet, a laptop...
The farmers come to Agrotech in order to acquire the latest, state-of-the-art knowledge. The trade show made therefore possible to make use of consultancy services - specialists from all agriculture related institutions shared their know-how and experience. The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture and the Farmers' Social Security Fund KRUS had their info-desks at the trade fair. The Agricultural Advisory Centre in Radom organised discussion panels on the innovations implementation into Polish agriculture, fibrous hemp cultivation and the nitrogen losses reduction in agricultural production .Innovation in milk production was also one of themes in discussions. An interesting conference focussed on current problems regarding law-abiding and safe employment of foreigners in agriculture. This session was organised by the KRUS Farmers' Social Security Fund and the Border Guards.
The 25th, jubilee edition of Agrotech included the Targi Kielce Medals awarding ceremony. The gala was graced with the presence of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Jan Krzysztof ArdanowskiThe Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Award was personally presented by Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski to to Hodowla Roślin Strzelce [ Strzelce Plant Cultivation ] for effective implementation of rape and cereals cultivations progress and promotion of modern cultivation methods based on the latest achievements of national and global science.

The 2019 Agrotech also witnessed the finals of the very popular competition. On the first day of the International Fair of Agricultural Technology there was the final round of the 37th Young Agricultural Producers Olympics 2019. The Roman Bathelt from the Małopolska province was pronounced the best of the best. Andrzej Szubert from the Lodz province was the runner-up, and the podium third place was for Dawid Obojski from the Mazowsze province. The Olympiad held under the banner of "Together we wake tomorrow's energy" was organised by the Rural Youth Association.
The Kielce jubilee trade show was accompanied with numerous events at the exhibitors' stands. Visors had the chance to admire the up-in-the-air acrobatics staged under the E Expo Hall ceiling as well as to meet the heroes known from the television “Farmer Wants a Wife” series. There were celebrities, well-known social media stars agricultural youtubers. The exhibition also hosted Magdalena Urbaniak, "Tractormania - Girl on the tractors" who provided the expo live coverage. The last expo day featured a traditional meeting with the agricultural YouTube channels stars. Kielce has again become the meeting platform for fans and Piotr Kaliski "Farmer Wants… ", Michał Słomski "Słomek14". Mateusz Misiak - "Matheo780" joined this year’s fellowship. The event proved to be very popular among fans, regardless their age.
