For 20 years now Targi Kielce has been the creator of different events and has thus marked its place on the international trade fair and conference map. Today’s Targi Kielce is also the patron of sports and culture; for a number of yeas it has been the organiser of, inter alia, the Religious Song Festival, the Targi Kielce Jazz Festival “Memorial to Miles”, classical and popular music concerts and thematic film presentations. Targi Kielce is a committed supporter of young artists and musicians and thus helps them make their dreams come true. The Kielce trade fair and exhibition centre has also assisted the Juniors Band of Starachowice. Owing to this back-up the band has been able to release their CD album which also features guest-stars: the world class jazz singer, pianist and composer Stanislaw Soyka and the outstanding jazz singer who has gained the critics’ recognition Justyna Motylska. The concert of the Juniors Band and their guests stars will be put on stage tonight at 7 in Swietokrzyskie Philharmonic. The event has also been designed to promote the new “What a Wonderful World” album.

At the same time we also provide our support for young, gifted and enthusiastic people; the Juniors Band Starachowice band members. The Kielce inhabitants are whole-heartedly welcome to join us for this concert at the Swietokrzyskie Philharmonic on 20th November.

„Juniors Band - Starachowice ” – a Junior High School nr 3 jazz orchestra founded in 1993. The band was set up and has been directed by the music teacher and the school Head Teacher who himself is a jazz music aficionado - Mirosław Gęborek. Pupils learn how to play instruments in the class of the saxophone, flute, trumpet, trombone, guitar, base and drums and thus they develop their musical interests and master their skills. 25 young musicians have already appeared in 150 concerts at home and abroad. Their repertoire encompasses jazz standards we all know and like in addition to popular music hits. The orchestra has been the main feature of numerous radio programmes, TV shows and newspaper releases; both regional and national.
