The Fruit and Vegetable Technology Expo HORTI-TECH commences in Targi Kielce tomorrow. HORTI-TECH mainly mainly brings together Polish fruit and vegetable companies, but there are also exhibitors from the USA and the UK
Sprayers, the latest machines for fruit and vegetable productions, industry-insight for the next season, the young farmers competition and... Putinka - a new apple variety. This and much more from 18 November in Targi Kielce.
- This is the time when fruit and vegetable growers look for new export markets, adapt to other countries' rules and requirements, take efforts to improve the fruit and vegetables quality. This is why expertise is extremely valuable. For 22 years Targi Kielce has been strongly associated with the agricultural industry expo AGROTECH - Poland's largest agricultural exhibition held in the exhibition halls. Not only do we utilise this experience, but we also go forwards to meet fruit and vegetable producers' needs. Thus we have created HORTI-TECH Expo. The comprehensive event which combines an exhibition and educational aspects. - says Andrzej Mochoń PhD, President of Board at Targi Kielce HORTI-TECH enjoys its partner's support - Leaf Media. For more than 10 years this has been Poland's only company which specializes in logistics and media services for horticultural and agricultural commodity market.
The Kielce expo is a comprehensive presentation platform for new machines, substrates, seeds, greenhouse construction and equipment, cutting-edge fogging and irrigation systems, plant protection, production and nurseries, biostimulators and protective clothing, services for fruit and vegetable sector, orchard related construction and many other accessories a modern farm cannot go without. About 100 companies will join the event, these are mostly Polish exhibitors, but the expo also hosts USA and UK representatives. The well-known brands like Case, Orsi, Landini, Kisiel, Bury, New Holland, Lisicki, Weremczuk, Wodziński, Procam, Jagoda will showcase at the expo. One of the interesting apples varieties presented at the trade fair is the Putinka developed by the Research Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice. Bright red, crispy, sweet and juicy apple will soon be available in Poland.
