1ST AIR ECOLOGY CONGRESS HELD IN TARGI KIELCE

The début-event will complement the expo cluster - i.e. the 22nd International Power Industry Fair ENEX, the 16th Environmental Protection and Waste Management ENEX NEW ENERGY and the 20th International Environmental Protection and Waste Management Expo EKOTECH.

Tuesday, January 29 saw Mayor Bogdan Wenta’s press conference. The Mayor announced the 1st Air Ecology Congress’ principles and prerogatives.  The Mayor stressed that the initiative’s main goal is to bring the residents together to make it possible for them to have their say on the matter - We want the Kielce residents to talk about their maladies as well as their ideas and possible solutions- emphasized Kielce Mayor - We know that the city has a large amount of municipal flats and social housing facilities. We know that we have to face that too - added Bogdan Wenta.

Danuta Papaj - the Mayor’s Plenipotentiary stressed that all the city's companies were also invited to join in the campaign - The city is getting ready to combat smog in a decisive way - she added. The Targi Kielce President and CEO - the Air Ecology Congress co-organizer added that the problem of smog will not disappear in a year or two - I trust that this meeting will open the discussion and will result a series of meetings.
