New products from John Deere enter the market and replace the old product series
This spring John Deere presents its novelties - the four- and six-cylinder 6M Series tractors with engines that meet the FT4 standard. Power-rated from 110 to 195 hp. The new series will replace the existing machines.
The new machines offer better manoeuvrability, greater comfort for the operator, maintenance-free cab-suspension mechanism and a wide range of multi-task gear: Power Quad Plus, Auto Quad Plus and Command Quad, up to four pairs of SCV valves and the front-lift link option. The new tractors are powered with the new, four-cylinder, 4.5-litre PowerTech PSS engines of 110 to 145 hp. The six-cylinder powered models use the two types of PowerTech PVS engines - of 6.8 litres capacity with 155 hp and 175 hp as well as PowerTech PSS of 195 hp.
The John Deere PowerTech engines meet the FT4 emission standards; this translates to low operating costs and provides maximum sensitivity to load changes. However there are many more changes. - The engines are equipped with DPF and SCR filter which last out for the whole service life. Engine oil replacement periods in 6155M, 175M and 6195M models have increased up to 750 working hours - explains Piotr Dziamski of John Deere Poland.
The new 6M series has been designed to work with the new, easy to install and use multitask-loaders equipped with the new mounting frames and covers. It has been announced that the 6M series models are to be available from April 2016. In Poland the tractor will be presented on 18 March at the Kielce's Agrotech.
Additionally 6M Series tractors with power rating above 135 hp can be pre-prepared for the automatic AutoTrac integrated in 6R series.
