Jubilee - the 10th edition of the Safety Olympics will be held on Thursday, 16th November in Targi Kielce

A-CLASS SAFETY

This year's "A-class SAFETY" Olympics will be attended by primary schools pupils from the entire Świętokrzyskie province; the total number of participants is 400 school-children.  The three-person teams that have been selected in the eliminations phase compete for the safety-experts laurels.  The Olympics' objective is to promote among the youngest safe behaviour patterns
in everyday life. 

The Olympics disciplines put the teams to a whole array of difficult tests, not only must pupils demonstrate theoretical knowledge but also practical skills such as first aid principles.  One of the competition organized by Kielce Drivers Examinations Facility and Kielce Voivodeship Police Headquarters is the test of knowledge and the obstacle course - a mock-up of real traffic situation.  Young people can expect a whole array of competitions, including identification of  dangerous places, agricultural equipment safety tasks and identification of field works that children should not do.   The demonstration of police dogs’ trainings and obedience will be one of the agenda's highlights.

The meeting culminates with the awarding ceremony - the teams that demonstrate above-average excellence and groups of fans as well as the authors of the best works will receive special awards sponsored by the Olympics organisers and co-organisers;  Świętokrzyskie Voivode, Provincial Police Headquarters, Kielce WORD, KRUS - Kielce Division, Kielce Auto-mobile Club, Prevention Section of Kielce Police Headquarters.

The A-class SAFETY programme features additional attractions - this year's edition includes a meeting
with the VIVE Tauron Kielce team-members. The artistic accent is offered by Black & White fitness club members from Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.

In addition, all meeting participants will have the opportunity to talk about everyday-life safety - they can call in the expo stands' of representatives of the most important institutions, including:  the Police, Fire Services, Auto-mobile Club Kielce, Border Guards, Municipal Police in Kielce, Centre for Foreign Missions Preparations in Kielce, KRUS Farmers' Social Security Fund, Forest Schools Complex in Zagnańsk, the National Centre for Agricultural Support, the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture in Kielce, the Emergency Assistance Centre in Kielce.
