This year’s A-class Safety Olympics has been designed for primary school pupils of the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship; there will be 400 entrants from 14 schools. The three-member teams competing for the laurel of in the safety standards contest have been selected in the qualifying round. The Olympics objective is to promote health and safety principles used in your day-to-day life.
And the teams are put to pretty difficult tests; not only do they have to present their theoretical know how but also demonstrate practical applications in real-life situations such as first aid.
The event is accompanied with a whole array of contests which focus on road safety, dangerous spot indication, safety for agricultural appliances and farms as well as indication of the type of work children must not be involved in. the Olympics will be concluded with award presentation; the teams which do exceptionally well in the competition will be presented with prizes sponsored by Swietokrzyskie Voivode, Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship Marshal, Kielce Division of KRUS, Kielce Automobile Club, WORD Kielce. The Olympics is also sponsored by DUBR PLC and WIR Łopuszno.
The event will be even more attractive for its participants, as the children will have the chance to meet the VIVE Targi Kielce and Korona Kielce team members.
The A-class Safety Olympics is organised by the Voivodeship Headquarters of the Police, Kielce Automobile Club, Kielce Education Superintendent’s Office, the Kielce Voivodeship Road and Traffic Authority and Targi Kielce.
