The fifth-graders were taking part in theoretical as well as practical part of the competition. Once they had been sitting a gruelling test, the contestants had to complete the first-aid tasks as well as targeted throw with the use of a little buoy and a bicycle rodeo. The jury panel also assessed the involvement of the supporters team.

The competition was complemented with lots of fringe-attractions such as dance with stars, presentation of safety-related songs as well as fluorescent fashion show.

The event was organised with the assistance of the Voivodeship Police Headquarters, National Fire Brigade, Automobile Club, the Boarder Guard Services, the Customs Chamber, KRUS, Kielce Polish Armed Forces Military Unit, the Kielce Division of the Agricultural Market Agency as well as the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture. Owing to the institutions’ assistance children have been able to extend their safety-related knowledge.
