The Leipzig based Freds Bespannungen deals with historical plane and gliders - they use modern ORATEX fabric for wing covering
What is aircraft fabric-covering? This is a unique method for plane and glider wings covering with fabric which primarily offers aerodynamic properties and less weight for the machines. Oratex was founded in the German company Lanitz - this is a super-modern, non-flammable and very durable fabric, also resistant to sunlight. You can buy it in a painted version in the selected colour, or in a ready-for-painting version for DYI procedure.
Oratex is attached to the construction with a special thermally activated adhesive. And this how the live show will be organised at the Light Aviation Expo in Targi Kielce.
