A great honour granted to Mariusz Jurasik
A player of the handball club VIVE TARGI KIELCE selected for the world's best seven of 2009!
A list of the most effective players was presented in the prestigious ranking published by the French "L'Equipe" magazine. The best seven handball players of the year were chosen by a handball expert committee.
Our player has been placed in the world's top together with five champions of the world, France internationals, and a Croatian.

left backcourt player: Nikola Karabatic (Montpellier)
right backcourt player: Mariusz Jurasik (Vive Targi Kielce)
right winger: Luc Abalo (Ciudad Real)
left winger: Michael Guigou (Montpellier)
pivot: Igor Vori (HSV Hamburg)
In January 2009, Mariusz Jurasik signed a three-year contract for playing in the Kielce club. In August, during the Kielce Cup tournament, he made his comeback in the team (previously he played in Kielce during the period1996-2001). Together with the pivot Rastko Stojkovic he is regarded as the most effective player of Mr Bogdan Wenta's team.
The team continues to keep the 1st place in the league. VIVE TARGI KIELCE has enjoyed 32 points so far.
It is very soon, on 19 January 2010, that Austria will host the European Championship. There will be as many as 10 players of VIVE TARGI KIELCE in the Polish national team, i.e.: Piotr Grabarczyk, Kamil Krieger, Paweł Podsiadło, in addition to the existing internationals: Daniel Żółtak, Patryk Kuchczyński, Mateusz Jachlewski, Rafał Gliński, Paweł Piwko, Tomasz Rosiński and, obviously, Mariusz Jurasik.
