The Association of Polish Cities (ZMP) holds its meetings every month; this time Kielce has welcomed the ZMP members. At the sessions the delegates were talking about, inter alia, construction law or the state-government programme on social activity activation. The discussion did not miss on the issue of peaceful manifestations which, as it has recently happened, become more aggressive.

The Association of Polish Cities is dedicated to self-governance support and enhancement as well as it represents the cities’ interest. The main ZMP objectives are: issuing opinions on the new bill and experience exchange. 304 communes are associated in the ZMP, including the seven Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship self-governments. Kielce joined the ZMP association in 1990.
