Among hundreds of novelties presented at the exhibition stands of AGROTECH and LAS-EXPO fair there is also the latest version of forwarder.
Gremo 1050F is the further development of the forwarder 950F which has been the successful market-leader on the demanding market of Sweden for over a decade. With the introduction of 1050F the size of the vehicle grows which in turn positions it in the higher loading capacity class (10,5T). This makes the machine more effective and ergonomic, as it has been expected by the users. Underneath the bonnet of 1050F there is a powerful Cummins Engine with Common Rail system. The engine, which meets the environmental requirements, has a high torque exceeding 600Nm over a wide rpm-range. At the same time as the engine possesses these powers, it is also light, compact and quiet. The forwarder is equipped with the inhouse-developed software GreControl. GreControl has manay advantages, such as the possibility to reduce fuel consumption, easier handling and lower noise emission. GreControl allows to control the rotation speed of the hydraulic driven ventilator and to reverse its rotation every 30 minutes in order to blow through the radiator unit and to clean it.
The GreControl 105 F is designed to be mainly used for logging in thinnings and loggings sites. This 8-wheeled chassis find no difficulty in moving about waterlogged areas. Owing to special actuators, 4 of the wheels can be raised and the vehicle is transformed into a 4-wheeled, highly manageable machine ideal for thinning areas operation.
Gremo 1050F is equipped with a quiet driver’s cab, which is located close to the crane. When working on the machine the operator can closely observe all the wheels as well as the operational area without any additional unnecessary effort. It makes the machine much more manageable while decreasing the possibility of tree bard damage.
