ACCOUNTANCY ETHICS CONFERENCE

The Accountants Association's Conference at the Business Days

ACCOUNTANCY ETHICS CONFERENCE

Is it easy for accountants to remember about the rules of ethics in their everyday work?  Accountancy Ethics Conference included Ewa Lipińska's presentation and her attempt to find the answer to the conference key question. Mrs Lipińska has successfully run an accountancy office for a number of years now.  In accountancy a border between law violation and making use of loopholes and ambiguities is very narrow. Every accountant should be sensitized not to disregard it.  The speaker also noted the customers do not foster ethical behaviour.

 - No one asks about professional ethics. None of my clients had never mentioned ethics. They usually ask about the services price - said Ewa Lipińska

Deregulation of August 2014 poses another threat to ethics in accountancy.

 - Now everyone can become an accountant; before this used to be a profession of public trust. All you need today is a computer, business insurance and a cheap accounting software  - added the lecturer - unfortunately this affects the quality of accounting services and impacts professional ethics.

The "Accountancy Ethics Conference" held in Targi Kielce was organized as a part of the Business Days the Association of Accountants in Poland, Regional Branch in Kielce.
