AGRICULTURAL SPRING'S START MARKED WITH THE KIELCE EXPO!

This Friday, March 18 marks the beginning of the popular agricultural expo -  AGROTECH. The event continues until Sunday, 20 March. As befits Poland's largest business-sector's exhibition  staged in Expo Halls- the pavilions are literally bursting at their seams at the display abounds with modern equipment and tractors. Premières in profusion

Machines and equipment manufacturers will present unique, wide and diversified products portfolio - this has been spurred by the fact that for the first time since 2011, farmers have a chance to apply for EU subsidies. The scheme's objective is farm modernisation.  This perspective makes Kielce the global arena for a whole array of products launches and first-time presentations - this is the case of Polish brands like Ursus and Farmtrack. The presentation will not fall short of brand new machines from leading brands e.g. New Holland, Case IH, Deutz-Fahr, Kuhn and many others. In addition to Polish companies the expo will host manufacturers from Germany, Austria, Italy, Denmark, Slovenia, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Finland, Great Britain. Many companies offer a chance to test and try the new machines.

The International Fair of Agricultural Techniques AGROTECH is held already for the 22nd time.  The event boasts many-year tradition, therefore by farmers it has been regarded the the industry and business-sector barometer.  This year's Targi Kielce expo reports a record-breaking increase; the total exhibition space is 62.5 thousand square meters. The expo is the showcase for over 700 exhibitors from over a dozen of countries. Last year's AGROTECH exhibition hosted 61,500 visitors.

On March 18, following the expo tradition AGROTECH will see the the Targi Kielce Gold Medals presentation in recognition of innovative technical solutions. The expo agenda abounds with interesting presentations and events; most prominent are - the "Tractor of the Year 2016" and "Machine of the Year 2016" competition entrants and laureates presentations.  The National Finals of Young Agricultural Producers Olympics 2016 organised by Rural Youth Association are also held within the scope of the expo.  This will be complemented with problem-focussed meeting. The Agricultural Advisory Centre in conjunction with other 8 institutes welcomes the expo guests to the "Isle of Innovations". The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and related agencies' expo stands offer consultancy services - this is the best place to learn all about the regarding RDP 2014-2020 subsidies. 

Targi Kielce - ranked second among all among Central and Eastern Europe’s expo centres has developed its specialisation in agricultural events and expos organisation. In addition to Agrotech, there are other agricultural sector focussed expos, like the Agro-Travel and the 2015's autumn début-event targeted at fruit and vegetables producers. The 2016's LAS-EXPO, the forestry-exhibition held parallel to AGROTECH also promises to be a record-breaking one with regards to the largest number of machines on display. LAS-EXPO will be accompanied with falconry demonstrations and  live-performances of hunting buglers as well as dynamic presentations of machines in operation.
