Poland's largest indoor exhibition of agricultural techniques and technologies has commenced! More than 700 companies from 17 countries, award-winning tractors, thousands of agricultural machines on display on 63,000 square meters in Targi Kielce's 11 expo halls
The exhibition is truly impressive! From 17 to 19 March AGROTECH is the focal point for the business-sector of agriculture. The expo gala opening was graced with the presence of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Krzysztof Jurgiel.
The expo also hosts 6 foreign delegations, the opening ceremony gained extra splendour owing to the presence of Abdesselam Chelghoum - Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fishing of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Świętokrzyskie Voivode Agata Wojtyszek and Kielce Deputy Mayour Tadeusz Sajor, MEP Czeslaw Siekierski, Andrzej Matysiak - Regional Director of the National State Forest Holding Division in Radom. The Expo enjoys the honorary patronage of the Director General of the National State Forest Holding.

- I hereby pronounce Agrotech2017 open - the traditional Targi Kielce opening formula was uttered by Minister Jurgiel. - Last year Polish farmers gained access to 27 new target markets - new countries to cooperate with. Polish 2017 priority is Algeria. The expo will see the agreement signing - the MoU establishes a joint venture between Polish Ursus and the Algerian Karmag Industrie.
Over 23 years Kielce AGROTECH has advanced to become Poland's largest agricultural exhibition in expo halls. Now AGROTECH is the industry's biggest event staged indoor. The international character of the exhibition is also emphasised with the fact that the expo hosts foreign delegations from Algeria, Congo, Serbia, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Finland. Algerian and Congolese delegations are headed by the countries' respective ministers - the Minister of Agriculture of Algeria, the Minister Scientific Research and Technological Innovation of Congo.
Kielce's AGROTECH is a comprehensive exhibition - a showcase for tractors, agricultural machines, equipment, accessories used farms, fertilizers, feeds and fodders, seeds and seedlings and many others. This year's expo abounds with first-time presentations; Deutz Fahr has brought as many as four new products to be showcased at Agrotech. Among première presentations there are the new 6 Series models and the RC Shift tractor that has won the "Tractor of the Year 2017" title in the Best Design category. Tractor of the Year is presented by the fellowship of of 23 leading agricultural journalists from the all corners of the world. Case IH expo stand is the display for the amazing black-colour Optum 300 CVX - the "Tractor of the Year 2017" title winner. John Deere presents new products designed especially for family farms - 5R Series tractor and 800 Series baler. However the expo stand features a unique attraction - a combine operator's simulator available for visitors for the whole, three-day expo. Polish Ursus proudly presents its Ursus C395 Power - a clear reference to the traditional tractor line and the iconic C series. New Holland - a household name in the world of agriculture presents a novelty - the T7.165 S tractor with extended wheelbase and the T5.120 - the "Tractor of the Year" laureate in the "Best Utility" category. There is also a real gem on display - a vintage Lanz Bulldog 1924 tractor showcased at the Dziekan expo stand.
Agrotech 2017 offers attractions galore, Traktoriada team and its "Tractor's journey around the world" project are one of the expo highlights. Marcin Obałka and Piotr Sliwinski - the two travellers who set off for a trip on Ursus C 328 of 1964 intend to go to Africa and then to traverse the continent. They started the quest in January; so far they have covered the 1,200 km route to the Slovenian-Italian border. Traktoriada's objective is to promote Polish agriculture industry's companies.
Other attractions in the pipeline for the three-day Agrotech: live performances of music bands and dance-shows, competitions for visitors, celebrities hosted at companies' expo stands. A meeting with bloggers is held on Saturday: Magda Urbaniak "Traktormania - a girl drives a tractor" and Piotr Kalisz "Farmer Wants a Wife who is also famous for his appearance on the You Tube channel (18 March at 12.00, conference capsule in the E Expo Hall)
In addition to well-known tractors brands, the expo is also the chance to meet producers of animal fodders and fertilizers, agricultural tools manufacturers, experts from agricultural institutions and ministries. In the pipeline there are surprises for visitors prepared by well-known companies. There will be abundance of contests, celebrities and popular agricultural bloggers. The 23rd International Fair of Agricultural Techniques AGROTECH is complemented with the 17th Timber Industry & Forest Resources Management Fair LAS-EXPO. The outdoor exhibition grounds are the main stage for LAS-EXPO where cutting-edge tree-felling machines, wood processing and transport devices are showcased. This yearbrings together 50 exhibitors; LAS-EXPO does not fall short of Poland's most important companies, specialists in tree-felling and wood processing. The exhibitors list includes ZM Jabłoński, Wood-Mizer, Wirex, Krpan, Avant , OTL Jarocin, Maszyny Leśne Jan Kłoda, Jar-Drew, Stihl, Makita, Husquarna and many other. Companies from Lithuania and Slovenia also mark their presence at the forest expo. The expo time is even more pleasant owing to live performances of hunting buglers, falconers and wood carving demonstrations.
