The exhibitions were formally launched by Zofia Szalczyk, Under-secretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development
- I am truly glad to represent the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development at Targi Kielce as well as in front of the exceptional exhibitors. In Poland we shall soon be celebrating the two very important anniversaries - 25 years since we have regained freedom and 10 years since Poland became the European Union member state. Poland's membership in European Union has been the right choice for the rural areas too. We have also been given the chance to become a part of common agricultural policy. We have perfectly used the time and the financial resources. This is also clearly visible at the Kielce expo - said Deputy Minister Zofia Szalczyk at the exhibition opening ceremony.
The 20th International Fair Of Agricultural Techniques AGROTECH will be the showcase for 600 exhibitors from England, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Ireland, South Korea, Lithuania, Germany, Slovakia Slovenia, Turkey, Italy and Poland - they will put on display cutting-edge equipment no present-day farm stead can go without. Over 55 thousand visitors will become familiar with products and services on display; they are also able to make use of professional advisory services provided by the business sector's most important institutions.
Beyond any doubts, this is Poland's most important agricultural trade-show. The exhibition grounds' area account for almost 60 thousand square metres.
