AIR QUALITY DISCUSSED AT THE KIELCE EXPO CENTRE. THE AIR ECOLOGY CONGRESS

We know the details regarding the Air Ecology Congress announced by the Kielce Mayor, Bogdan Wenta. Further previous announcemets, the congress will take place in Targi Kielce on February 28 between 10:00 and 17:00

AIR QUALITY DISCUSSED AT THE KIELCE EXPO CENTRE. THE AIR ECOLOGY CONGRESS

The Congress comprises the four panels - the first starts at 10:00 and focuses on children and youth from the schools of the Świętokrzyskie Province. Workshops on electromobility carried out by the Polish Electromobility Association is a part of the programme.  An important element of the panel includes the "Login the air" competition.

The official start of the conference - 12:00. The following special guests have already confirmed their presence at the congress:  Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin, Minister of Science and Higher Education, Jadwiga Emilewicz - the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology, and also Michał Cieślak, a Member of Parliament of the Republic of Poland. The Mayor of Kielce Mr. Bogdan Wenta and the Targi Kielce President of Noard Mr. Andrzej Mochoń PhD. will personally meet the guests upon their arrival.

The first panel is dedicated to local governments, governments officials as well as to all those who are decision makers for environmental issues.  Examples of good practices from the Kielce Functional Area municipalities will be presented - including those from Morawica, Nowiny and Chmielnik. The meeting participants will also focus on the subject of investing in renewable energy sources.

The next part of the Air Ecology Congress is targeted at business owners who offer pro-ecological products. Companies whose activity affects the quality of air are also in the limelight in this part of the conference.  The organisers have prepared a number of presentations regarding electromobility, low-altitude emissions threats complemented with air quality improving devices offer.

The last part of the meeting starts at 16:00. This one is dedicated to the Kielce and the region’s residents.  The panel will be attended by Mayor Bogdan Wenta and representatives of the City Hall units and departments.  The moderated discussion offers the Kielce inhabitants the chance to find out how the city fights against smog, what pro-ecological programs are implemented by the authorities and how to use the opportunities.  There will also a Q&A session with the authorities.
