ALARM is also the showcase for the latest developments in facility and city monitoring

A perfect supplement to the two-day SPORT-OBIEKT exhibition, which commences on 8th November is the Video Surveillance Conference and Exhibition ALARM held simultaneously.

For the first time this edition has been mainly devoted to the police workshops “Safe City” – Safety at Sport Facilities and in Public Places attended by the police people from Poland, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Lithuania, Sweden, Hungary, Ukraine and Latvia. The workshop is held on 9th November.

The presentations will be delivered by:

- Andreas Piastowski - Germany, Director of the Central Department designed for information collection and analysis for international sports event preparation and security provision. In 2006 Piastowski was the German head of security at the World Cup in football. His presentation will relate to the questions of security measured designed for this very event and potential problems with foreign sport fans as well as public order restoration.

- Major Andreas Niesser from the Federal Police Department in Vienna – his presentation will feature the preparation of Vienna police before the increased-risk football matches.

- Russel Scott from Great Britain, representative of London’s Metropolitan Police is a person of extensive experience. He will be presenting his experience regarding safety of EURO 1996 as well as at international matches held at the Wembley and Hampden stadiums and other main stadiums of London.

The event has been granted with the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the Ministry of Interior of Justice and the National Police Hedquarters.
