What is the barcamp? This is the event designed for the Internet, information technologies and marketing sector insiders, but not only.
The event enjoys immense popularity among students, those who are interested in new technologies and in social media. Until now it has been organised in the cities of Kraków, Warsaw, Poznań, Wrocław or Rzeszów and every time it was attended by masses of people; not only the local inhabitants but also by those who came to the event. The meeting idea consists in the selected guests’ work presentation; it is usually a case study analysis of the guest’s work related instances. Such presentations are often recognised as the example to follow, a chance to gain fresh inspiration or a lesson on how not to act. Once the official part of the meeting is over, the second, less formal part of the gathering begins; on the one hand the topics which have been presented are still being discussed, on the other hand it is a chance to establish business and private relations.
In Kielce we are going to gain experience from Targi Kielce (e-Targi Kielce), Dominik Szarek, WebshakeTV (Marketing, women and radio-television subscription), Łukasz Wilczyński, PlanetPR (Świętokrzyskie offers charm, not shock), Mateusz Tułecki, University of Technology and Managemntg in Rzeszów (Lost in action that is a subjective guide to social media), Tomasz Wesołowski, Empathy Internet Software House (Technology serving imagination.
