"Bene Merito" medal in recognition of Poland's promotion abroad has been granted to Targi Kielce President of Board Andrzej Mochoń. Mr Mochoń is the first Swietokrzyskie region representative to join the "Bene Merito" fellowship.  Until l now the accolade has been presented to such personages as Professor Władysław Bartoszewski, Marek Belka, Norman Davies, Janina Ochojska or Jurek Owsiak.

The Medal was presented by the Foreign Affairs Minister Grzegorz Schetyna during the opening ceremony of the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Targi Kielce last Tuesday.

- Poland over the last 25 years has demonstrated that many things are possible, and the Kielce expo serves as a symbol and a proof.  MSPO is Europe's second-largest defense industry exhibition which comes in ranking just after after Paris and London. The event has been gaining an increased, global-scale market recognition. This success would not have been achieved without the expo idea originator - Mr Andrzej Mochoń.  I am glad that Targi Kielce President receives the distinction in front of such an honourable milieus - there are 66 foreign delegations from 47 countries  said Grzegorz Schetyna, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Andrzej Mochoń has been recognized for his activities designed to strengthen Polish position on the international arena. The "Bene Merito" honorary medal has been granted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2009.

The International Defence Industry Exhibition is Poland's defence industry's window to the world.  The expo provides an excellent opportunity for an insight into the world's affairs, the defense industry's latest developments.  Every year it is a showcase for premiere products, solutions and technologies designed for the Polish army. This year's event brings together 550 companies from 30 countries of the world.
