You can send in your recipe for the best Swietokrzyskie region dish and take part in the competition. Both the recipe and the incidents should originate in Swietokrzyskie.
The competition has been addressed at the tourist-farm entrepreneurs as well as at catering facilities. They can bring recipes for three dishes all in all; for example a starter, a soup and a main course or a dessert. A dish needs to be made from local ingredients listed on the Traditional Product List of Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship or made by Swietokrzyskie Culinary Heritage network producers and prepared in accordance with a traditional local recipe. In order for a dish to be admitted for the competition there is one, yet important condition – it cannot be supplemented with any taste booster, artificial food colour or fragrances.
The best dishes are to be chosen on 18th May in Targi Kielce during the EcoFamily trade fair. The winners will be chosen by the jury panel assigned by Swietokrzyskie Viovodship Marshal. The panel members will assess the dish taste, fragrance as well as the manner it is served.
Applications are to be submitted on a contest card which needs to be accompanied with a photograph. An e-mail should be sent to: barbara.kubiec@sejmik.kielce.pl with the following heading: "Konkurs na świętokrzyską potrawę regionalną" (Swietokrzyskie regional dish culinary contest).
