“UK Defence Ministry has confirmed its participation in the International Defence Industry Exhibition to be held at Targi Kielce,” announced president of the management board of Targi Kielce, Andrzej Mochoń. Thus, the MSPO fair to be held in September will include an exhibition of the military potential of the British Armed Forces.
“What has become a tradition of the Kielce exhibition is presentations of the potential of other countries’ defence industries,” says president of the management board of Targi Kielce, Andrzej Mochoń. “So far, MSPO has played host to national exhibitions prepared by Germany, France, Sweden, and Israel. In 2007, the exhibition organized by the USA brought together dozens of companies with their products, including the famous helicopter Black Hawk. The exhibition showing Swedish achievements featured, among other things, the latest missile systems. And this year it will be the British army to show its military potential.”
The British Armed Forces have their bases in the United Kingdom and in the Overseas Territories. Their task is to protect the United Kingdom and provide support to peace-keeping missions in the world. They actively participate in NATO operations.
The Kielce defence industry exhibition has become the leading event of this kind in Central Europe, being the third largest one on the Old Continent. Each year, MSPO features not only the latest achievements in the field of defence products, but also technologies and systems applied in fields such as logistics, security, and rescue.
Almost 13,000 visitors and more than 300 exhibitors representing defence industries of 25 countries used nearly 20,000 square metres of exhibition space to display their products and services during the previous defence industry exhibition.
