The World friendly for the Child contest has been organised by Committee for Child’s Right Protection since 2002. The aim of contest is to distinguish and promote the laureates – the child friendly products, places or internet portals and shops which positively influence the child’s cognitive, emotional and social development as well as shape their aesthetic sensitivity. The assessment is carried out by the contest Chapter composed of the authorities – psychologists, pedagogues and artists (Dorota Zawadzka – the Super Nanny, Magdalena Łazarkiewicz, Artur Barciś, Professor Adam Frączek, Professor Mieczysław Wasilewski, Mirosława Kątna, Magdalena Stachowiak, Anna Chrostowska- Buzun, Robert Myśliński, Magdalena Kordaszewska).

Committee for Child’s Right Protection (KOPD) is a national public benefit organisation which has existed since 1981. The KOPD offer is addressed primarily to the families and to the children who has fallen victims to emotional, physical and sexual abuse, who have been neglected or improperly taken care of. The Committee organises social campaigns and all Poland educational projects, e.g. The World friendly for the Child contest, charity activities and events. It also grants its patronage to all other interesting events. KOPD operates on the whole territory of Poland via its 23 divissions.
