A few words about those who run workshops...

Joanna Wrońska- a traveller, originally born in Kielce, fascinated with folk culture - this interest was rubbed down on her by her grandparents. She calls herself "Passionate  about crafts".  A graduated of the Folk Art University in Wola Sękowa.  The journeyman's examination passed in the Chamber of Craft in Rzeszow followed with the master examination in embroidery. She is also crafts lecturer at the University of the Third Age.

The foot of the Bieszczady Mountains was the place where she learnt the vintage crafts techniques: weaving, embroidery, wicker, sculpture, icons writing . For more than 23 years she has been associated with the Song and Dance Ensemble "Kielce" at the Provincial Culture Centre in Kielce where she is responsible for stage costumes.  She loves wearing folk outfits.  She also makes magical and ritual Slavic dolls, images and traditions regarding doll-making are preserved only in Belarus and Ukraine.  A wonderer, a grain-doll or a demand-doll - these are just a few types of dolls, each used in different circumstances.

Joanna likes to work with the youngest children - she makes usable dolls with them  designed for fun and creativity.

Krzysztof Jan Wesołowski- a teacher born in Tumlin near Kielce.  A graduate of drawing basics at the School of Building Craft in Kielce, the Penitentiary School in Warsaw and the Institute for Social Prophylaxis and Resocialisation at the University of Warsaw.

Since he was young Wesołowski has been engaged in artistic activities.  Until 8 he remained under the strong influence of his father's sculptures.  His creative journey was inspired by the family members who were studying at the Academy of Fine Arts and architecture at Wroclaw University of Technology.

He spent several years in Italy, which significantly influenced his perception of sculptures.  His forst sculptures were created in 1991.

It belongs to the Local Action Group "Bobze Waters" in the Miedziana Góra and the Świętokrzyskie Association Artists in Kielce.
