CROWDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE AT THE SCHOOLS AND HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS FAIR

High schools, technical schools, vocational schools, educational centres, secondary schools and a record-braking number of more than 25 universities from all corners of Poland present their educational offer at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre

Even before the official opening of the exhibition, the expo centre was swarming with young people from Świętokrzyskie province

The consecutive Schools and Higher Education Institutions Fair is targeted at  young people who prosper for educational career ideas; the official opening ceremony was graced with the presence of the Swietokrzyskie Regional Chief Education Officer Kazimierz Mądzik and Targi Kielce President of Board Andrzej Mochoń PhD.

The opening was session gained extra splendour with a mini-concert of the Kielce Vocational Schools No. 1 choir.  Well-know and popular works of Piotr Rubik, the Enej band, Hania Stach and Andrzej Lambert's were performed.  Shortly after the choir performance, a historical reconstruction team of the 1st  Stefan Zeromski Secondary School nr 1 in Kielce  staged the Vikings battle re-enactment. 

This year's Schools and Higher Education Institutions Fair is the presentation platform for more than60 educational institutions from all corners of Poland.  This year's event features an exceptionally large number of universities presenting their offer.  The Targi Kielce Congress Centre hosts the Pontifical University of John Paul II from Krakow, University of Economics, Warsaw University of Technology and the Catholic University of Lublin. There is the total number of 25 universities young people can become familiar with.

Particular schools' and colleges' expo stands tempt visitors with ingenious gadgets as well as innovative demonstrations.  Bartenders and carving demonstrations, live-cooking, Vikings fight shows, table decorations instructions, presentation of professional photo-shooting techniques -  this is just a sample of the two-day educational festival.  There attraction galore, like the Mars rover presented by Kielce University of Technology and a life-size humanoid robot which has been made with the use of WFIS 3D printer.

"Regional Education and Vocational Advisory System - effective support for schools" conference

A debate initiated by the Świętokrzyskie Regional Chief Education Officer is one of the points on the agenda of the Schools and Higher Education Institutions Fair.   The meeting is organized under the banner of "Regional Education and Vocational Advisory System - effective support for schools" and has been designed to popularize professional and effective education and vocational counselling.

The Schools and Higher Education Institutions Fair continues on 23 March.  Admission free. We look forward to seeing you.
