Exhibition of artists' works for the benefit of gifted youth
The opening of the paintings exhibition of renowned artists will be staged on September 2, 2014 at 19.00 in KIA showroom (opposite Targi Kielce). The arts viewing is held as a fringe event to the 22st International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO.
The presentation of paintings will be followed with an auction of paintings donated by artists Bozena Aneta Olak, Piotr Łopalewski, Stefan Dousa and Jolanta Darowska Dousa. The event's social partner is the Świętokrzyskie Local Fund Association responsible for the auction. All the funds raised at the auction will be transferred to the scholarship fund; the fund supports talented and socially active young people from rural areas and small cities of the Świętokrzyskie Region.
Bozena Aneta Olak - since 1987 she has lived in Athens. She has continued her artistic passions drawing of the Ancient Greece's lavish cultural resources. Aneta has become a member of the Greek artists association PELT (Panhellenic Association of Literature and Arts) and APELLIS.
Piotr Łopalewski - a prominent contemporary artist. He deals with paintings and applied arts (book illustrations, poster, graphic design). His works display an apparent fascination with technology and technological items. The works on show come from the three cycles:
"Opel-Officers and Gentlemen" - from the 20's to 80's of the twentieth century the Opel company applied "military" names to the cars they produced.
This cycle is a metaphorical representations of this trend.
"Aerotyki" - an image of women has always been associated with aviation, ever since she was born.
For years hundreds of aircraft were adorned with images (to better or worse result ) of a (more or less) naked ladies.
"Ex Machina" - these works resemble the genre referred to as "hyper-realism" or photographic realism.
Stefan Dousa - one of Poland's best artists - creator of medals and sculptures. He boasts great and unquestionable achievements; he is also the winner of prestigious awards and the author of major exhibitions.
Jolanta Darowska Dousa - the artist known for her works called "batik" i.e. Far-East art of silk painting.
