Targi Kielce hosts Poland's most important congress of diabetes specialists
Diabetes - one of the four modern-age diseases which may cause death. In 2011 the United Nations Organisation recognized diabetes as one of the greatest civilisation problems; it is often referred to as the 21st century epidemic. One of the world's major health-related problems will be discussed at the Congress of the Polish Diabetes Association held in Targi Kielce from 5 to 7 May.
Targi Kielce will host nearly 2 500 people - diabetology specialists.
The Congress of the Polish Diabetes Association is the most important annual event which brings together scientific milieus. This is the meeting platform for prominent lecturers - representatives of all academic and research centres, national consultants for various disciplines of medicine, diabetologists, general practitioners from all corners of Poland, nurses, diabetes educators. The congress presents the most important findings and the latest developments related to diabetes treatment and patients care. Lectures and scientific sessions of the Congress are chaired by leading specialists, representatives of Polish clinics and diabetes centres.
The XVII Congress of the Polish Diabetes Association , by the resolution of its Board is organised by Świętokrzyskie PTD Branch chaired by Grazyna Majcher-Witczak MD PhD.
