DIRECT SALES OF HONEY DISCUSSED IN THE WORKSHOPS

Direct sales of honey will be one of the topics discussed at the workshop

All over Poland there are more than 40,000 beekepers; 80 percent of Polish beekeepers sell their honey directly to consumers. The Beekeeping Panel is organized by the Polish Beekeeping Association within the scope of HORT-TECHNIKA expo held in 27 and 28 November; this will be a discussion platform about the two most recent legislative act concerning direct sales of honey from the producers' own apiaries.

- The workshops will feature year's new legal regulations concerning low-processed products of agricultural origin and the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture on direct sales of products of animal origin - informs Piotr Krawczyk, vice president of the Polish Beekeeping Association.  - These are very important regulations; they have just came into force, thus we need become more familiar with them. Beekepers should also be introduced.

The workshop will also feature other beekeeping-related topics.  And those who dream about putting hives in the back garden will also be able to learn more about it from the experts. You will learn who to organize it in order to eat honey you have produced in your garden.
