The day before the opening of the Fair, on Tuesday, 15th September, the Łysogóry Hotel in Kielce will host a scientific conference on "Public Transport in the Context of the Polish and EU Regulations". Speeches will be delivered, among others, by Jean-Luc de Wilde d'Estmael, STIB Brussels; Thierry Duquenne, Ministry of the Capital City Region Brussels; Alejandro Martinez Godin, European Commission DG TREN; and Piotr Mikiel, Deputy Director of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure. The meeting is organized by the Economic Chamber of Urban Transport, which is also a co-organizer of TRANSEXPO.
On Thursday, 17th September, the situation in Poland's public transport industry will be discussed by specialists invited by the Polish Economic Chamber of Road Transport and Forwarding. The programme includes, among other things, a speech on the role of preventive measures in the management of risk and safety in road passenger transport, with special emphasis on the organization of transport for children and school students. It will be delivered by Police Chief Superintendent, Head of the Road Traffic Department of the Provincial Command of the Police in Kielce, Jarosław Kopciara; and by Władysław Mitręga, the Provincial Inspector of Road Transport. On the same day, training will be provided by the Polish Chamber of Vehicle Testing Stations. The first part of this workshop, aimed at employees of district authorities and municipalities, will address issues such as selected aspects of the report prepared by the Supreme Board of State Audit on the results of audits of the supervision over vehicle testing stations carried out by district authorities. During the second part of the workshop, the same subject will be discussed by representatives of vehicle testing stations.
