In Szczecin they have developed the ground breaking technology for renewable energy sources.  An increased energy demand in developed countries, limited fossil fuels resources as well as political situation make us prosper for new, effective methods of energy generation with the use of renewable sources. The unbridled power of seas and oceans may be sources of energy.

The Maritime University of Szczecin engineers reach out for this power source. The underwater generator set  complemented with  gen-set deep sea underwater foundations have been designed.  The inspiration was taken from observation of seagulls' wings. The system brings numerous benefits and stands a chance for commercial application.

"Underwater generating set with deep sea foundation" - Professor Engineer Boleslaw Kuźniewsk PhD hab from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Maritime University presented the scheme in the competition of the "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna - Eureka!  DGP - Spotlight on Polish Inventions.

Now it will be presented at the International Expo of Innovativeness and New Technologies.
