EVERYTHING ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF CONCRETE ROADS DISCUSSED AT THE AUTOSTRADA EXPO

The AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA commenced on May 14 in Targi Kielce

The meeting devoted to  "Concrete roads - wise construction that last for years" presented scientific research and practical experience as well as advantages of  concrete pavings.  The meeting takes place on the second day of  AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA until 15.00.

The program includes discussions on the concrete pavements benefits in the context of the average user, national requirements and the investment scheme in road infrastructure until 2023.   Concrete  surfaces were compared with  asphalt  ones- construction costs and maintenance wise. Durability and the use of concrete surfaces in the fight against smog were also addressed.  The main issues discussed at the session include Polish raw materials and services for the national economy, examples of road projects with concrete surfaces from Poland and Europe. The event agenda also includes the "Good Host" awards. - Municipal and poviat roads constitute the largest percentage of roads in Poland. With innovative methods these can offers a prospect of improving the standard of living of residents and  traffic safety enhancement.  The title of "Good Host" award is a nationwide accolade which recognises intensive development of communal and poviat roads. - we read on the organizer's website.
