EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW CONCRETE ROADS INVESTMENTS PRESENTED AT TARGI KIELCE

might derive from the seminar held on the second day of Targi Kielce's AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA

In addition to a wide portfolio of machines for roads, bridges, fly-overs, tunnels, petrol stations construction and maintenance, the AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA expo stands abound with technological novelties crafted as a response to the road-engineering business sector's need and demands. 

One of such seminar was "Concrete roads - as good as always". The session was held in the Targi Kielce Congress Centre.  The meeting was the chance to award the self-governments of the Ożarów City and Commune - the Świętokrzyskie Province and the Strzelce Poviat from the Opolskie Voivodeship. These communes have been awarded the "Good Host" titles.

 On behalf of the Ożarów City and Municipality the distinction was presented to its mayor Marcin Majcher. On behalf of the Strzelce District, the starost Józef Swaczyna received the accolades.

The "Good Host" title has been awarded since 2017 by the Polish Cement Association (SPC).  Representatives of local governments who have decided to build concrete roads are recognised with the awards.  Concrete roadsprovide up to 2/3 greater durability compared to bituminous roads. They are also resistant to wheel track, they have a brighter colour and most importantly they are safer when driving at night and in difficult weather conditions.

The self-governments of the Town and Commune of Ożarów has two concrete roads: the Przybysławice - Prussia section (about 1 km) and the Gliniany Teofilów section (about 5 km).  Another concrete road will be built in the Special Economic Zone.  The Strzelce Poviat local government has built the concrete road from Izbicko to Otmice.
