Korona Handball - the first league female team has commenced the season with two wins.  The season opening of Tomasz Popowicz's team starts with winning over  MTS Zory with the score of 26:22. In the second meeting played in front of Kielce fans the handball players won with MTS-I Kwidzyn - 26:23. Although the style in matches with weaker rivals leaves a little to be desired, the two wins are a good kick-off for the season start and boost the players' motivation.

From this season on the team Korona Handball, team enjoys the support of Targi Kielce. The team aspires to promotion to the PGNiG  Women's Super-League.
