EXCAVATOR OPERATORS AS PRECISE AS A SURGEON

- The competition is really tough. Even the professionals with-first permits for excavators or third-class permits for backhoe loaders may face problems. Unfortunately controls, joysticks, levers may cause the contest participation problem  - says Franciszek Kubała, the originators of the competition for excavator operators - BIG BAU MASTERS.

Each category comprises aptness competition judged and scored by the Jury Panel.  The task example the participants had to face. There is a PVC tubes-composed structure. At the upper corners there were 4 basketballs. At the end of the excavator's bucket a small ball is suspended. The operators' task is to introduce the excavator's spoon inside the structure so as not to trip off any of the balls. Then, when inside, the excavator's spoon opens and a small ball suspended from the bucket is placed in the middle of the PVC pipe located in the middle of the structure. After entering the ball the spoon is closed and retrieved, the machine returns to its original position. The task requires the excellent abilities and skills as well as precision. The winners in each competition category are selected on the basis of the classification points.

The competition prize pool accounts for more  10 thousand PLN. The Finals are staged on 2 June.
