FARMER OF THE YEAR 2016 - PLEBISCITE RESOLUTION

- The annual project has been held for five years now and thus we can observe changes in Świetokrzyskie agriculture, its progress right in front of our eyes. I congratulate all the nominees; all kind of professional activity deserves appreciation. Frankly speaking it was very difficult to decide about the winners  - recapitulated Stanisław Wróbel, Echo Dnia editor in chief.

 Friday's awarding ceremony featured  Farmer of the Year 2016 Distinctions, 2016's Farmers and Farmer-Ladies Association as well as 2016's Agribusiness accolades. Roman Popis of Obice was pronounced the Farmer of the Year 2016; the winner was presented Mamut AUSM 25 aggregate from Dziekan company and a statuette. Dominik Druch of Górki was second, Zbigniew Radosz was third.

The gala was also the occasion to honour the winners of the Golden Ten as well as Farmers of the Year 2016 in articular categories: Fruit and Vegetable Farming - Krzysztof Marzecki; Animal Farming - Zbigniew Radosz; Plant Production - Zdzislaw Sobczyk, Ecological Farming - Piotr Stolicki.

The winners were in the counties were also announced; they have been invited for a trip to Brussels by MEP Czeslaw Siekierski of Polish People's Party.
