Swietokrzyskie Centre for Medical Emergency Services has held its dynamic show on the third day of the MSPO and LOGISTYKA exhibitions. The presentation has featured three fire brigade units from the Emergency and Fire Section nr 1 in Kielce. Eleven fire fighters supported by two medical emergency units had the chance to present their skills and abilities; their task was to release passengers from the car which got stuck under a container. The fire fighters used the spreading beam and cutting tongs.
The dynamic presentation was held under the banner of cutting edge technologies. There was the “Heksokopter”; a small helicopter equipped with the camera used for the accident scene monitoring. The appliance is capable of flying up to the altitude of 300 metres, it can work non stop for thirty minutes. The remote control range reaches 2 kilometres. The on-board computer calculates the amount of fuel left so that the helicopter is able to come back to its depot. Toyota Tundra was yet another curiosity. It was constructed at the Maritime Academy in Gdynia. The Voivodeship Headquarters of the State Fire Services in Krakow have the car at their disposal. This special automobile has been designed for extremely difficult off-road areas; it can operate in any kind of terrain as well as in water up to 120 centimetres of depth.
