The world’s first four-wheel bus in will be presented by SZCZĘŚNIAK Pojazdy Specjalne
For 26 years the Bielsko-Biała based factory has specialised in production of special vehicles, mainly of these as the response to the needs of the army and fire brigades. This year's International Defence Industry Exhibition is the presentation platform for the world's first heavy-duty four-wheeled off-road bus Torsus Praetorian. The all-wheel drive vehicle has been created to transport people and the necessary equipment in most difficult conditions - military operations, evacuation and rescue mission and similar. There is no time to look for a right route - Praetorian copes really great on diverse terrain. This bus is not afraid of off-road wilderness, sands, snow and ice. Based on a heavy‑duty MAN chassis and powered by MAN engines offers unparalleled durability. The six-cylinder MAN engine offers 240 hp and makes it possible to reach the maximum speed of 117 km/h.
Built to the highest standards and using only the highest quality OE components available on the market, Praetorian has rugged durability ingrained and copes with the harshest conditions. With an impressive payload of up to 35 passengers plus equipment as standard, Praetorian makes the ideal transport solution for heavy industries and operations based in difficult terrain. Designed for full EU homologation for on and off road use, Praetorian is adaptable for multiple roles.
