The Targi Kielce’s Pigeon Exhibitions attract thousands of aficionados every year
This weekend, 7th and 8th December Targi Kielce will be the venue for the Pigeon Accessories Exhibition, Swietokrzyskie Pedigree Pigeon Exhibition and Decorative Poultry, Swietokrzyskie Rabbit Exhibition and the District Carrier Pigeon Exhibition. The two-day expo focuses upon animal aficionados; this will be a chance for them to admire the most beautiful pigeon and rabbit specimens from all over Swietokrzyskie region.
The Swietokrzyskie Pedigree Pigeon Exhibition and Decorative Poultry will showcase for almost 830 most beautiful birds put on display by 65 breeders of the Swietokrzyskie Region for the aficionados to admire. The display will be complemented with 310 magnificent rabbits. The District Carrier Pigeon Exhibition is the presentation of 621 pigeons brought in by 70 breeders of the Polish Carrier Pigeon Breeders Association – Kielce District’s Sections.
The expo objective is to popularise pigeon breeding and to present the breeding and fly-competition achievements of the PZHPG Kielce District’s Sections
Swietokrzyskie Breeders Association of Pedigree Rabbits and Small Livestock promises that the expos will serve as a display for rare specimens or uncommon breeds in addition to those most popular ones. The greatest number of rabbits will be the representatives of mid-size breeds – Grand Light-Silver, New Zealand White, Californian, Vienna. The larger size breeds are represented by Flemish Giant from Belgium, Checkered Giant French angora-type, smaller ones include the black-tanned. And we also come across rarities like the Japanese-coloured Danish rabbits or Rex of different types and colours.
