FOLK-DANCE EXPO OPENING!

The opening ceremony of the AGROTRAVELandHEALTH & BEAUTY expo gained extra splendour owing to the two Mazowieckie Voivodeship bands - "Urzeczeni" and "Kalwarki" from the Cultural Centre of Góra Kalwaria and the Monuments Preservation Society of Czersk. The artists introduced the truly folk atmosphere into the Kielce Exhibition and Congress Centre.

The expo abounds with a whole array of fascinating fringe events.  There are presentations of folk bands, tasting of regional dishes and Handicraft and Artistic Products Bazaar.

This year's edition features a really strong point on the agenda - the scientific conference "Medical tourism in rural areas" focused upon creation and commercialisation of tourism brands.  The event also includes a panel related to the latest trends in spa treatment. An excellent complement to the conference are the grants for tourism development and cultural heritage preservation.
