Last year, young people who specialise in sprayers calibration had their practical skills put to test.  2017 is the year of forklift drivers.  These machines are indispensable in the industry - fruit and vegetable growers cannot go without them in harvest times, in fruit warehouses, cold-stores and sorting houses.   

The Forklifts Town consists of the 8 cutting-edge forklift trucks by UniCarriers.  The combustion engine DX forklifts wit a counter-weight are known for their convenience and lost of usable space. Equipped with the FINGERTI levers as well as the Electronic Engine Control System (ECCS) for continuous engine monitoring and control. The Engine Control Module (ECM) has been designed minimise fuel consumption, regardless the work conditions. .

What will definitely attract the forklifts enthusiasts' as well as everyday users' attention is the New TX 3 and 4-wheel electric forklift trucks with a counterweight showcased at Targi Kielce Horti-TECH  exhibition. These boast the lowest energy consumption (up to 3.7 kWh / h), high ergonomics (ProVision concept) and the highest efficiency (16 km / h).  All of this series models are equipped with a revolutionary side swivel system (open-work floor); these forklift trucks are designed for max lift height of 7m.  The series products range includes 1.25 to 2 tons trucks.

PLL200 pallet trucks is yet another part of the assortment on show at the Horti-TECH - equipped with a platform and adapted for horizontal transport, long and heavy duty cycles.   They feature amenities galore to ensure safe work and comfort.   A lifting platform with lateral guard rails or fixed platform provides protection for the operator, improved safety and boosts work efficiency.  The emergency shutdown function prevents the operator from accidental overturning the machine which may result in a crush-injury. These machines also feature excellent manoeuvrability when space is limited.

Mainly used for indoor work, particularly suitable for intensive work.  They are also capable of loading and unloading from the ground level on hard outdoor surfaces.  Modern and attractive design with outstanding ergonomics
and security functions turn daily work routine into real pleasure.  Simple service with built-in on-board diagnostic tools is yet another advantage.   Equipped with the NTC system - the on-board computer that makes it possible to programme truck operating parameters separately for each operator.  Trolley access control is set with the use of personalised PIN codes.  They also include the Stability Support System S3 for increased safety (e.g. in cornering).  Because of this, they offer a high degree of control and exceptional versatility and can be therefore used to carry out intense in-warehouse transport work.

How to harness these unique machines? How to handle different situations, even those most difficult? The specialist's demonstrations staged on the second day of the expo - 22 November. This is also a perfect day to prove your skills in a pallet stacking contest  and in the truck slalom between barrels.
