The off-site session’s highlight will be a tour over Kadzielnia – the reserve located in the heart of Kielce
The meeting will be held in Targi Kielce Congress Centre on 24th and 25th October. The event is targeted at local governments, entrepreneurs who operate in the sector of mineral materials extraction and processing as well as non-governmental organisations from home and abroad. The conference leitmotif is presentation and exchange experiences with regards to creation and implementation of sustainable projects and products associated with geological heritage.
The programme encompasses specialists’ presentations representing the AGH University of Technology, Swietokrzyskie Marshal’s Office, Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute, Silesia University, different divisions of Polish Tourist Organisation and Polish Academy of Sciences. Discussions will focus upon geo-products, promotion of geological heritage, financial resources for geo-tourism, geo-parks, utilisation of post-mining areas in service of sustainable tourism.
26th October is the off-site session day; the participants will be visiting Ślichowice – Jan Czarnocki Rock Natural Reserve, Kadzielnia Reserve, Wietrznia and its Geo-education Centre.
