The integral part of the MSPO will be showcased this year on more than 10 thousand square meters
Getting ready for Armed Forces Exhibitions - for 16 years it has been a part of the exhibition International Defence Industry Expo in Kielce.
Since Monday almost 600 soldiers have deployed military equipment and accessories on more than 10 thousand m2 in the two expo halls in Targi Kielce (Expo Hall A - about 5 thousand m2 and Expo Hall B - more than 1 thousand m2) as well as in the outdoor exhibition grounds (approx. 4 thousand. m2) - this is the Armed Forces Exhibition under construction.
- This is about three thousand meters more compared to last year's expo , - says Colonel Grzegorz Lisowski, head of the Department of Planning and Analysis at the Technical Services Command of Inspectorate for Armed Forces Support, the coordinator of the Armed Forces Exhibition.
The A Expo Hall - following last year's example - will be the display of the units directly subordinate to the General Command of Branches of Armed Forces (RSZ inspectorates) including the units reporting to the Head of the Inspectorate of Support for the Armed Forces (two Logistics Brigades , four Regional Logistics Base, Logistics Trainings Centre and two research and implementation centres).
The largest attraction of last year's show, i.e. Special Forces' equipment will be presented on twice-as-large area this year.
- We have lots to boast, thus additional surface is not a snag. It is a pity that the hall's roof is not higher - otherwise we would have opened the whole Scan Eagle set - says Colonel Grzegorz Piotrowski, who represents special units: Grom, Agat, Nil, Formoza, Lubliniec Commando Units and Special Operations Squadron.
Owing to increased training programmes intensity this year's Exhibition is the display for more trainers, automation systems, unmanned vehicles and technical equipment.
- Heavy duty equipment is about to reach Kielce: these are T-72M and PT-91 and Leopards 2A4 and 2A5 tanks as well as technical provission vehcles BPz2 and CTM-3 type. This logistics element was missing here, this year's shows is thus more comprehensive - says the colonel Lisowski.
Additional expo area in the B Expo Hall features four military museums exhibitions from Deblin, Gdynia, Krakow and Poznan.
"Modern equipment designed to face the threats, modern army able to face the future" is held under the auspices of the General Command of Branches of Armed Forces. The display has been prepared by the Inspectorate of Support for the Armed Forces.
